Alicia, Dental Hygienist
Alicia has over 15 years of experience as a dental hygienist and completed her education at Valencia College. She has been at Maguire Comprehensive Dentistry since 2023. Alicia genuinely loves her patients and caring for their dental needs, and she feels that when she builds a relationship and trust with them, she can make a real difference in her patients’ lives. Her goal is to prevent bigger dental issues from arising down the road with oral health education and advice.
Originally from Huntsville, Alabama, Alicia is a wife and mom of four young children. They’re currently adopting one of their children and are so excited about the new addition to their family! As a family, they love to be outside, play games, ride bikes, and read books. Alicia loves Jesus, yoga, and traveling. An interesting fact about her is that most days she feels like a plant because she needs sunshine and water!
Lauren, Dental Hygienist
Lauren is an experienced dental hygienist who has been at Maguire Comprehensive Dentistry since 2021. Her favorite part of her career is her patients, who she has gotten to know incredibly well over the years. She always looks forward to seeing them and catching up about what’s been going on in their lives, and she enjoys working with the best team! Lauren completed her dental hygienist training at the University of Florida, where she earned her bachelor's degree. She has also completed advanced training in nitrous oxide and anesthesia, as well as expanded functions.
Originally from Orlando, Lauren loves being able to work alongside her dad, who also shares her passion for teeth and helping people! Her husband also shares her same passion! Whenever she isn’t at the office, you can find Lauren reading, gardening, walking along the West Orange Trail, cooking and baking, and spending time with her husband and son. An interesting fact about Lauren is that she tries to read a book a week and is always look for good book recommendations!
Kristine, Dental Assistant
Kristine brings over three decades of experience to our team and has been at Maguire Comprehensive Dentistry for the last decade. Her favorite part of being a dental assistant is having a chance to interact with a variety of people and being able to help them with their unique dental needs. Kristine attended Bellevue Community College as well as the University of Washington, and she has her expanded functions certification, Florida Radiology certification, and has worked in a variety of general and specialty dental offices throughout her career.
Originally from Seattle, Washington, Kristine lives with her husband, Ron, their adult autistic son, and their two dogs and two cats. Whenever she isn’t at the practice, you can find her outside doing wildlife photography, birding, reading a good book, playing trivia, and building Lego flowers. She also loves going to the mountains and playing in the snow! An interesting fact about Kristine is that she has made money as a street juggler!
