Using Modern Dental Techniques to Create Healthier Smiles

At Maguire Comprehensive Dentistry, Dr. Zargari and Dr. Holz believe in staying at the forefront of dental advancements and technologies. As oral healthcare continues to evolve to include devices that are faster, more comfortable, and more accurate, we strive to make them readily available in-house for a more enjoyable and successful patient experience.

Local & In-House Dental Labs

Referrals are very rare at our Ocoee dental office. Not only are our dentists capable of addressing most dental issues, but we also have local and in-house dental labs that we use to fabricate various restorations. This means faster turnaround times when producing dental implants, custom zirconia abutments, and dental crowns.

CT/ Cone Beam Scanner

When preparing to place dental implants or perform a root canal, our Planmeca ProMax Classic CT/cone beam scanner is our go-to device. Equipped with a 360-degree rotating arm, it takes hundreds of pictures to create a 3D model for more accurate treatment planning. Offering higher-resolution scans with intricate detailing of your teeth, gums, bone, nerve pathways, blood vessels, and more, we can ensure optimal precision on the day of your procedure.

Sedation Dentistry

Anxious dental patients no longer need a reason to cancel or reschedule their dentist’s appointment now that nitrous oxide and oral conscious sedation are readily available. As safe methods of dental sedation, they create a more calming and comfortable experience while in the treatment chair – making it possible for our dentists to administer necessary treatment to ensure a healthier smile.

Intraoral Camera

A dentist’s eyes can only see the visible portions of teeth, which means a lot can be missed if proper equipment is not used. To prevent this problem, we use an intraoral camera – a camera-tipped, handheld device that scans the mouth and delivers an up-close, higher-resolution image for patients and team members to review. Using these images, we can identify small areas of decay and damage while explaining the reason for and importance of receiving various treatments.

Digital X-Rays

While the eye’s visibility stops at the gumline, digital X-rays can extend it to the space underneath where many common oral health problems exist. From cracked and infected teeth to weakening jawbones and misalignment, these faster, safer, and more detailed images give our dentists the information needed to develop accurate diagnoses and treatment plans.

Digital Impression System

Patients no longer need to remain still for prolonged periods while dental putty sets. Instead, our digital impression system eliminates this problem and instead produces faster, more exact scans. With its handheld, camera-tipped device, we can capture the images we need to produce restorations that fit comfortably, work effectively, and appear naturally beautiful.
